General Description
ECI
offers several multi-layer low reflection coatings for
plastic. These non-absorbing, all-dielectric coatings are
suitable for use on acrylic, polycarbonate, CAB, Fresnel
lenses and a variety of other temperature sensitive substrate
materials. These durable films offer excellent cleanability
and resistance to organic solvents.
#129 is a broad-band design typically used to reduce
glare from ambient white light. Average reflection is equal
to 1% across the visible spectrum. This coating can be
applied to substrates as large as 20" x 36".
#139 is an extra durable coating that passes the humidity,
adhesion, and mild abrasion tests of MIL-C-48497 when deposited
on polycarbonate substrates. This coating meets the reflection
requirements of MIL-C-675A and can be applied to substrates
up to 12" x 12".
#149 is a durable multi-layer broad-band coating that
has first-surface photopic reflection of less than 0.4%.
Please contact one of our sales engineers for size limitations.
#6468 is a narrow-band design for use with laser optics
or other applications where very low reflection is desired
over a limited wavelength region. This coating can be applied
to substrates up to 12" x 12" and can be optimized for
angle of incidence and plane of polarization, and peaking
wavelength reflection values are typically less than 0.25%.
