Bandpass Optical Filters

ECI offers bandpass filters for standard, wideband and custom applications from the VIS to NIR. Typical out-of-band rejection is 0.01% (OD 4) or better. ECI's bandpass optical filters have high transmission levels with low passband ripple. Typical Passband Transmission is > 95%. These filters have excellent temperature stability. Filters are designed to meet harsh environmental conditions.

High performance filter coatings are deposited on custom optics, polymers, fibers, semiconductors and glass substrates up to 175mm in diameter.

bandpass:

A bandpass filter is a type of device that transmits or passes a range of wavelengths (i.e. the passband) and blocks or rejects the wavelengths outside of the passband. The passband can be wide or narrow with sharp or gradual slopes. The common terms that define a bandpass filter are the Minimum Peak Transmission (%) - the minimum percent of transmission at the peak ?, CWL (center wavelength), and FWHM (Full Width at Half Maximum) - defines the width of the bandpass as measured at 50% of the maximum transmission.
