ANTI-REFLECTION COATINGS

FiberOptic Components
Process temperatures below 50°C

• Fiber Ends • Fiber Arrays • Ferrule Assemblies • Pigtails •
• Molded Lenses • Laser Diodes • Laser Bars •
• Glass / Metal Assemblies • Isolaters

ECI offers anti reflection coatings specifically designed for application to these and other temperature sensitive substrates. Coatings are deposited directly onto hermetic glass / metal assemblies including TO-caps, and sealed windows. Our low temperature process (temperatures below 50°C) minimizes outgassing from cladding or epoxies. The coating materials are deposited with very high energy resulting in films that have an extremely dense and compact film structure. These extremely durable coatings exhibit superior environmental stability which are resistant to moisture penetration and abrasion. Coatings are designed for components whose devices must pass extended humidity and temperature cycling.

The performance curves below highlight the Laser wavelengths, C-Band and L-Band, and Dual Wavelength coatings. Also illustrated is our NEW Super Low AR coating.

Custom coating designs are available.
