INFRARED OPTICAL COATINGS

Evaporated Coatings, Inc. manufactures anti-reflection and highly reflective thin film optical coatings for the Infrared Spectrum from 2.0 - 12.0µm. Designs include performance coatings for the MWIR 3.0-5.0µm (mid-wave infrared), LWIR 8.0-12.0µm (long-wave infrared) and the full range from 3.0-12.0µm. Designs are available for deposition onto a variety of IR optical materials including: Silicon, Germanium, Zinc Sulfide, Zinc Selenide, CaF2, BaF2 , Gallium Arsenide, Sapphire, and IR Fused Silica. ECI's coatings meet the durability and environmental requirements of MIL-C-48497.

NEW PRODUCT:
ECI continues to develop and manufacture custom thin film coatings that exceed today’s industry standards. ECI’s High Temperature AR coating for Ge withstands temperature up to 350°C. The average transmission for this coating is ≥ 96%
@ 3.0 – 5.0 microns.


IR Anti-Reflection Coatings

ECI’s antireflection coatings are designed for maximum performance in the 2-12µm region including 3-5µm, 8-12µm and 3-12µm.  Typical broadband anti-reflective coatings have less than 1% average reflection per surface across the specified wavelength region.  Our narrow band high performance AR coatings typically reduce reflection losses to less than 0.5% at your specific wavelength.
IR Dielectric Mirror Coatings
ECI's IR Dielectric Mirrors are designed for applications that require excellent durability and environmental stability. Reflection levels are typically ≥ 99%. ECI's custom coatings are designed to your specific requirements including, % reflection, angle of incidence and bandwidth.
IR Metal Mirror Coatings
ECI deposits protected and enhanced metal mirror coatings on various IR optical materials. Coatings are designed for first or second surface reflection, angle of incidence and incident medium. ECI's multilayer enhanced metal mirror coatings provide up to 99% reflectance for narrow band wavelength applications.
