Our low-temperature process, below 50°C, minimizes out-gassing from epoxies and cladding materials and is highly suited for these and other temperature sensitive materials. ECI’s enhanced gold metal mirrors are an excellent option for achieving high reflectance in the near infrared and infrared wavelength regions. These designs are utilized in many laser diode applications including biomedical devices, scanning, sensing, military and fiberoptic assemblies. These extremely durable coatings exhibit environmental stability and are resistant to moisture penetration and abrasion. Custom designs are available to meet specific wavelength and reflectivity requirements.

ECI will also strip and cleave your fiber in preparation for coating.
