Dielectric layers can be deposited over the ITO to provide electrical isolation and enhanced durability. ECI will design a custom anti-reflection (AR) coating to enhance the performance of your transparent electrically conductive ITO film. ECI’s ITOAR coating offers increased contrast enhancement and transmittance.

Coatings are suitable for deposition on Precision Glass Optics, Fused Silica, BK-7, Molded Glass Elements, High Expansion Glasses, Gradient Index Glass, High Stain Glasses, Ball lenses, Ultra Thin Wafers, High Index Glasses and others for maximum performance in the 400nm – 1600nm wavelength region.

  • Resistivity ranging from 4 to 1,000 ohms/sq.
  • Typical Transmission > 85% @ visible for ITO Transparent Conductive Coatings
  • Typical Reflection is < 0.5% across the visible spectrum for ITOAR Conductive Coatings
  • Custom busbars are available

ECI offers a Transparent Gold Coating (#969) that also has excellent shielding properties. ECI also offers a permanent anti-static film (#1258) with ohms per square values from 10,000 to 100,000. These films exhibit optical clarity and environmental stability with permanent conductive properties. We recommend these coatings to customers whose application can tolerate lower transmission values at a reduced cost.
